COMPANY PROFILE

Auckland Flower Exports (NZ) Ltd was established in 1980 as the first dedicated flower exporter of other grower's products in New Zealand. Since that time, the company has grown steadily to become one of the leading flower exporters in New Zealand.

In the past year over 24 countries purchased flowers from the company which means the company is well balanced to trade internationally, and hence is expanding on that basis. Main trading partners are located in Japan, Europe, Asia, North America and the Pacific Islands. The full range of New Zealand cut flower and foliage product is offered for sale by the company.

The company is an independent owner operated company and severed from any ownership or shareholding by growers. The directors are husband & wife, David Easton & Alison Caverhill. David is the company's President with an MBA in International Business, a just completed 4 year term as Chairman of the New Zealand Cut Flower Exporters Association, and a 10 year veteran of international flower sales. Alison has been with the company since it's interception and controls the company's finances. In addition to the directors, there are 6 staff comprised of people with diverse multinational and educational backgrounds.

The company maintains modern computer reporting and data systems, email, and a web site at www.flowernz.co.nz and enjoys a reputation for honesty and consideration from its growers and importers.

The company welcomes visits from its importers and tours of New Zealand growers are often arranged on their behalf.

The company maintains an office and coolstore facilities at the Kuehne & Nagel Building, Aintree Ave, Aiport Oaks, Auckland, New Zealand. Kuehne & Nagel is the company's freight forwarder and is one of New Zealand's leading forwarders.
