Bright red flowers with spectacular green foliage. A wide range of head sizes (5 - 30cm) and stem lengths (40 - 120cm) provides for many combinations and a range of floral uses. Development programs are constantly extending the range of head size and form and providing variations in the red colour from light red to light burgundy with the possibility of a white in the future. Long lasting.

The majority of production occurs in the temperate climate of the northern regions of New Zealand.

The long stem, large flower head and serrated leaf makes the Waratah a dominant, powerful flower in any arrangement.
