A relatively new crop with an exciting colour range. Dominated by the Nerine Sarniensis Hybrid range which has been developed and com-mercialised in NZ over the last 10 years. Nerine Hybrids have up to 16 florets per stem that when fully open create the classic Sarniensis round head shape. The full colour range is from white, pink (All shades) and red through to orange. Petals have an appealing diamond sparkle, hence the "Diamond Lily" name. Also grown are Nerine Bowdenii and Pink Triumph. The Bowdenii is available through the same time period as the Sarniensis hybrids. The Pink Triumph flowers later than the hybrids.
