Lilium Oriental are a hybrid Lilium bred for their highly fragrant blooms and unique flower form. Blooms are often much larger than those of their Asiatic cousins with some bloom diameters reaching 20cm or more across. The colour range is restricted to purest white, pale to dark pinks and cream.

The flowers look spectacular when offset with deep green foliages and are often much sought after for formal floral displays at weddings.

Deep rust coloured pollen is produced in great profussion by these flowers and it is advisable to avoid contact with clothing as it is very difficult to remove. Snip off stamens to avoid contact.

Stems are graded and priced by bud count per stem, with the minimum bud count often being two or three. Depending on the hybrid, blooms are available from early November to March.
